FIVE:AD

As if 2012 has not been busy enough for the team at FIVE:AD, we have also been working closely with HPI Racing for their new Scion RC car bodies. HPI has worked exclusively with Scion and Five Axis to develop miniature versons of not just Scion vehicle bodies, but also FIVE:AD products for these RC cars. The result has been some exciting new products from HPI Racing and Scion.

And what better way to showcase the new HPI Racing Scion FR-S RC car than with a race? HPI worked with Scion to organize the 2012 Scion FR-S Cup and it was also hosted in the parking lot of Toyota Headquarters in Torrance, CA.

Tuners and RC enthusiasts were invited to bring out their modified and customized HPI Racing Scion FR-S RC cars to race in three categories: novice, sportsman and expert. Registration was limited to 120 entires and they were filled fast.

The day of the event was a little rainy at first, but cleared up and offered a fun day of racing, along with food provided by Seoul Sausage and a raffle. Various media outlets attended the event including Motor Trend. CLICK HERE to see there pics!

Another year and another SEMA Show for the FIVE:AD team. This year however was bigger than most for our growing brand. If you attended the show this year you probably saw a lot of Scion FR-S'. And many of these vehicles were equipped with FIVE:AD aero kits and spoilers.

Like many SEMA Shows of the past, Five Axis had not only our FIVE:AD product line on display throughout the show, but also a custom built show vehicle for an OEM partner, this year for Lexus. But this years show did prove that the FIVE:AD product line is growing rapidly. The Scion FR-S has been a huge boost for the FIVE:AD product line, as have other Scion models, such as the Scion iQ.

After the show we have received many new inquiries for how dealers and consumers around the world can get access to FIVE:AD aero kits and wheels. We want to thank all of our sponsored vehicles and partners that showcased FIVE:AD products on their vehicle at the SEMA Show this year and helped get more word out about our brand.

We are already hard at work getting ready to meet the expectations of both consumers and dealers around the world in 2013. Be sure to keep a lookout for new distributors for FIVE:AD next year!

Each year at the SEMA Show Scion offers 3 tuners the chance to showcase their abilities in customizing a Scion vehicle. This year it is no surprise that the new Scion FR-S is the blank canvas that the Scion Tuner Challenge is based around.

There are always hundreds (if not thousands) of entries and when Scion narrowed it down to the three finalists this year, FIVE:AD was already on point with new products for the FR-S. After receiving sponsorship submissions for the Tuner Challenge, FIVE:AD selected John Toca and his Toca Series Scion FR-S as the vehicle to showcase FIVE:AD products at the 2012 SEMA Show.

Scion has officially revealed the three vehicles in the competition to the public and voting will take place at the show in just a few days time. Be sure to stay tuned to Scion's blog to find out who takes home the award this year.

The entire team at FIVE:AD would like to wish John good luck at the SEMA Show and thank you again for representing FIVE:AD products! For a sneak peek of what is to come, CLICK HERE to watch a teaser video from Scion

It is that time of year again, which means Scion Night is happening at Knott's Scary Farm in So Cal. If you have keys to a Scion, you are invited to once again attend one of Scion's longest running events.

FIVE:AD was once again on-hand this year at Scion Night with two heading turning vehicles on display. First, the Scion X Street Fighter FR-S, equipped with FIVE:AD aero kit, spoiler and wheels, as well as a full interactive PS Vita setup on the inside. And second is TAZ's Five Axis Edition Scion iQ that recently received some powder coating treatment. Let's just say TAZ's wheels got a lot of attention.

The FIVE:AD booth was in full swing with games and prizes, while Scion offered up ride-n-drives in the new Scion FR-S. Overall it was once again a great turnout for Scion Night. Now, time to get back to the shop to get everything finalized for the SEMA Show in two weeks!
